Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her abilities as an actress, delivering stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The first time she was recognized was for her role in the biographical 2005 documentary All the Way. Hind also earned high praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for the third series from 20th Century Fox Television. She took classical music classes and dance for five years in her teens. Her passion was for the study of zoology. Bachchan studied architecture when she won the title of Miss World 1994. The title made Bachchan a star in the world of modeling. In addition, she was offered an impressive contract with L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Her acting career began to a good start with praised performances on Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films challenged the fundamental structure that characterized Bollywood movies at the time, propelling Bachchan to prominence in Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood through her performance as Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. It also was the first film to screen at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002) is a dramatic version of the Rabindranath Tagore novel Chokher (2003) has received a lot of praise. In that same year she served as the only Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan's star power and beauty was brought to the very first English-language major film. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood for a role on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). Abhishek Bachchan was married in April 2007.
