Andressa Urach
Andressa Urach, then 15 years of age, was meeting Tiago Costa. In three months they were married. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19, 2005) was their only child. After a series of marital disputes and divorce, they separated in 2008, after more than six years as a couple. Andressa Urach moved into her mother's house to be with her only child. After six months of separation, she resigned and decided to transfer her son to his father to seek the life of a better chance and opportunities in Sao Paulo. Being vain, ambitious and a very confident woman, the primary reason she left her homeland in the South in order to move to Sao Paulo, was in seeking the fame and riches. Andressa Urach, in the book Morri Par Viver says that her foster father abused her from age 2 until she turned 8. She only managed to get free of the abuse since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the abuse and Andressa went back to stay with her mother who didn't know about her abuse until Andressa published her memoir. She said that before she underwent a spiritual transformation It was hard to let go of her the abuser. This was among the most challenging of my entire existence. I spoke to the person I was victimized sexually by. It was not an easy thing to take. Although I was not guilt-free, I pleaded for his forgiveness on the phone after a number of prayers. But I did ask forgiveness, without even justifying myself. Mariste Urach in a piece for Globo, explains her story of what she did when she first learned about her daughter's petty abuse. The city she visited was of Rio Grande do Sul where the perpetrator lived in order to take justice.
